Bratislava was probably the most amazing place we went to on our Europe trip in 2018. It's less touristic than the other places but incredibly beautiful and enchanting.

We arrived by bus from Vienna which takes about 2 hours. I think it's a lot faster if you go by train. You can spend one day in Bratislava. First, you can visit the city center and then you can walk up to the castle on a little hill. You can also sit at the Danube and have a picnic. I recommend you to try local food and drink Kofola (the national soft drink). We loved the people who are very friendly and try to help you as good as possible (even if not everybody speaks English they will offer their help).
