Long-Term Experiences abroad

Long-term experiences in a foreign country are very different from short-term trips. They allow you to get to know the country, the language, the culture, and the people much better. You have so many options for these kinds of experiences: you can study abroad (in school and university), you can work abroad (through an internship, through your company, or through remote work), you can volunteer abroad or you can just go for a long-term backpacking trip somewhere. Each of these experiences is unique and totally different from the others (working abroad is different from studying abroad and backpacking is different from volunteering abroad etc). I have done all possible programs and opportunities that have been offered to me (until now) and that's why in this section I will provide you with information about these different possibilities you have for long-term experiences.

Each experience has two articles:

• one general article on the kind of experience where I answer questions on where to go, how long to stay, how to organize it, and how much it costs (and present some organizations that make it easier for you to go abroad)
• one specific article on my own experience abroad where you can get insights and read some funny and inspiring stories
