Robert Kiyosaki: Rich Dad, Poor Dad

Rich Dad, Poor Dad is the first finance book I’ve read and it’s also one of the most famous finance books worldwide. Kiyosaki explains in a very general manner how to handle money and how to make it grow. What I liked about the book was that he always shares both perspectives about money – one from his “rich dad” (the father of his friend who was a very wealthy man who in the book represents the rich people) and his “poor dad” (his father who worked for the government as a teacher and who in this book represents the poor people).

Robert Kiyosaki: Cashflow Quadrant

This book is Robert Kiyosaki’s second book on finance. It’s therefore a continuation of “Rich dad, poor dad”. This time Kiyosaki explains the 4 ways of getting money (the Cashflow Quadrant): Employee, Self-employed, Business owner, and Investor. He explains each category and its pros and cons.

Andrew Hallam: Millionaire Teacher

In this book, Andrew Hallam talks about his investment strategy which made him a millionaire being a teacher. It is very interesting to get his perspective as we always think that you need to have a business to become a millionaire. But we can see that he – who was a teacher so an employee with a normal salary – made it as well. Very inspiring.

Jen Sincero: You are a badass at making money

In this book, Jen Sincero teaches you how to change your perception of money. There are 13 chapters, each one with exercises for you to do. It is basically like a course of money and especially the money mindset.

Niall Ferguson: The ascent of money

This is one of the best books on money I have read so far. It talks about the history of money in different stages. It makes you understand many things. I would really recommend everyone to read it.
